The Unicorn is proud to announce that they are able to offer home educators and Stable Colts a cutting edge PE provision harnessing the skills of our friends Sports Elite.

Sports Elite will be offering a number of Summer Holiday Camps in July and August 2024, allowing young people aged 7-11 to enjoy three hour sessions embracing a variety of sports.

From September, Sports Elite will also be offering a variety of sessions which will be open to all home educators. Your young person does not have to engage with any other Stable experience to be eligible to take part in this Sports programme.

Sports Elite sessions are mixed gender, age specific and are run by qualified and experienced sports coaches. The groups will carousel through Cricket Skills, Archery, Athletics, football Skills Jiu Juitsu, and kick boxing and other sports of interest.

To take part, your young person must be suitably attired in t shirts/polo shirts, legging/trousers and trainers. If they intend to engage in another activity in the Stable on the same day they will need a change of clothes and a spray deodorant!!!

Sports Sessions are costed at £20 per two hours and run to the following schedules

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

11.30-1.30 pm year 9,10,11

2pm-4pm years 5,6,7,8

Thursday  10-12pm  years 3,4,5

12.30-2.30pm  years 6,7,8

3pm-5pm  year 9,10,11

The Thursday session are part of our freedom provision, running along side a rotating programme of other interest courses in art, craft woodwork, gardening, music, creative writing , money management, HSE training and more.
